   go to a local music store, theyll hook you up. i cant remember the name of the book i started with but i think it was by hal leneard

   i first started out on FastTrack music instruction electric or acoustic book 1

   then i moved on to Hal Leonard Guitar Method Book 1

   if you want to learn like scales, harmonics, intervals, syncopation, i use Teach Yourself Guitar Theory by roger edison.

   pick whatever suits your playing style, im more into blues/rock
