hey im just learning this and when u do the explosive bass drum hit when strumming how do u keep notes the ringing when u do the hi-hat?

  22. KASIproductions Says:

Do you have to kinda hard to get a good high hat?
Can’t seem to get it quite right.

You’re a good teacher and very good at guitar :]
    Thanks for posting

  23. DaleCampbellAcoustic Says:

I wouldn’t say “hard” perhaps firmly would be a better description. Think of it like bouncing on a trampoline your hand comes down lands on the strings they move down until they hit the last fret just by your sound hole. Just after this has happened if your hand is relaxed it should bounce back up - like on a tampoline.
This technique will not be so pronounced on some guitars depending on all kinds of things, but should be able to get something useable.
    change.

  24. zachk933 Says:

    that was sick

  25. zachk933 Says:

maybe rub your hand against the strings when your taking it off?
